"Trust, The Shield and the Struggle"

Trust has been both my shield and my struggle.
It’s protected me, but it’s also left me exposed—especially when the people I started this journey with… stopped walking beside me.

It’s wild how betrayal can feel like a silent earthquake—no big explosion, just a slow collapse of what you thought was solid.
I gave loyalty. I showed up. I kept going even when it was hard—and still, some turned their backs. And in those moments, I found myself questioning everything:

Did I do something wrong?
Was it hate? Was it envy?
Did they just want a way out?
Am I meant to keep going… alone?

And just when I was ready to put a period at the end of this journey—
someone reached back.
With an apology.
With clarity.
With truth.

And it didn’t erase the cracks, but it reminded me that sometimes the plate isn’t ruined.
Sometimes it becomes kintsugi—the art of filling the broken spaces with gold.

New people have shown up too.
People with clean slates and open hearts.
People who see me, who get it, and who aren’t here to repeat the damage—just to help build something better.

It’s not easy… keeping the faith while rebuilding trust.
It’s not easy wearing the face of confidence when your spirit is still in recovery.
But I do it.
Not because I’m trying to fake strength—
But because I know my purpose doesn’t stop because of someone else’s absence.

I’m still here.
I still believe.
And maybe the cracks in my crown just let the light shine through a little more.
